Our work focuses on leveraging AI in two key areas: enhancing accessibility for visually impaired individuals and improve communication for patients with neurological conditions. The former AI-supported project aims to translate non-verbal social cues like gestures and facial expressions into haptic feedback. The latter uses brain wave data from an EEG to train a model, enabling patients who can no longer communicate verbally to interact effectively with their caretakers through an AI-assisted communication tool.
